A Free Mind- Part 2

Only Human

It’s easy to equate the horrors of the world with being human. Yet perhaps much of this awfulness comes from something well beneath our human calling.

Lied To...

Lies can play a powerful role in what we believe about ourselves and the world.

For example, if you're rejected as a child, you'll often continue to experience rejection throughout your life and eventually believe you are a rejected person.

Despite how powerful the evidence may seem, this is not the ultimate truth about you!

Rather, what a person believes is what tends to come forth and repeat itself.

A better brain than Einstein ;)

So this is for us all- to hear and know- We are new creations!!

We are not worthless, mindless, stupid or ugly or any other manner of badness.

We've been given the gift of everything good because Jesus died to give us everything from Himself!

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)

This includes Christ's acceptance, His perfection, His PERFECTLY LOVELY MIND....

Maybe this message is a little awakening to this truth, wonderful!

Yet how do we continue to awaken to the lovely reality of our true nature and mind,

especially if we've lived a good chunk of our life believing lies?
